Your chosen background package grants 1–3 points in Resources, and your starting lifestyle is Low, with one month’s rent covered. You can use each Resource point to customise your character in one of the following ways:

Relic	Increase by 1 Level (Maximum), enhancing the tool you use to weave Patterns.
Curio	Acquire a specialised focus item that helps channel a particular Pattern.
Quirk	Gain a new special ability.
Script (+1,000)	Add extra funds to your pocket.
Additional Punter	Recruit another contact from your past who may offer information or help… maybe trouble.
Lifestyle Upgrade	Improve your quality of living beyond basic essentials.
